Two iconic Viennese landmarks hosting Queers in the Garden during the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.
Designed by architect Oswald Haerdtl in the 1950s, this mid-century masterpiece sits nestled within Vienna's famous rose gardens. Originally a "milk pavilion", it features a terraced garden and stream — a serene café by day that transforms into one of Vienna's most vibrant nightlife venues after dark.
Burgring 1, 1010 Wien · U2 Museumsquartier / U3 Volkstheater
Formerly known as "Volksgarten Banane", this versatile club space within the Volksgarten complex is defined by its towering concrete columns. A temple of sound on the Ringstraße where monolithic architecture meets fluid movement — the perfect setting for the Semi-Final Viewing and Clubbing.

Opening Night
Welcome to the Garden
Willkommen in Wien.
Bring nothing, find everyone.
Semi-Final
Friday 15 May is cancelled due to rain. Existing tickets remain valid for the Saturday Finale Afterparty from 01:00 — or can be refunded by emailing events@vangardist.com.
ESC Fever
Garden Edition
Someone's garden. Everyone's party.
The Grand Final
Under the Stars
Everyone on the same Floor
The friends, allies and crews who make Queers in the Garden possible.
Vienna's queer-friendly pop choir, on stage since 2015. Modern pop hits learned entirely by ear — no sheet music — with appearances at Volkstheater, ORF's "Die große Chance der Chöre" and the Acapella Festival Voicemania. Their motto: united in diversity.
The pop icon's wine label, launched on Kylie's 52nd birthday in May 2020. Built with Australian wine veteran Paul Schaafsma, the range now spans nine wines from France, Italy, Australia and Spain — over 21 million bottles sold across 31 countries.
A Vienna-born community alliance for the LGBTQIA+ community. Common Cause builds independent infrastructure — from a peer-to-peer Helpline to events and networking — to protect and strengthen the queer community in a time of growing anti-queer pressure. Stand up for what's right.
A premium vodka with a long-standing commitment to the queer community — over $5 million donated to LGBTQ+ causes and iconic Pride editions like the Harvey Milk and Spirit of Stonewall bottles. Distilled in Latvia since 1938, renamed from Stolichnaya to Stoli in 2022 in solidarity with Ukraine.
Austria's biggest inclusion festival, on the dancefloor since 2008. Founded by Monika Haider, the Diversity Ball celebrates every dimension of diversity — gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, origin, religion — and now draws over 3,500 guests to Vienna's Rathaus each year. Net proceeds support projects by and with people with disabilities.
